Today my daughter walked in light,
A gentle glow, a vision bright.
Not just a bride in lace and grace,
But joy itself upon her face.
The day unfolded, soft and true,
With skies of hope in every hue.
Each step, each smile, each quiet tear,
A whisper: love has brought us here.
The laughter rang, the music played,
No single moment seemed to fade.
For everything just fell in place—
A perfect day, a sacred space.
And as I watched her take his hand,
I knew this love was gently planned.
Not rushed, not forced, but meant to be,
A story written tenderly.
My heart stood still, then overflowed,
With all the love a parent knows.
For in her smile, so full, so wide—
I saw a woman, not just my child.
Today she married, yes it’s true—
But gained a life, both strong and new.
And I, with tears and joy above,
Give thanks… she married love.
